Senior 1%er from an established well respected West Australian Motorcycle Club speaks out!

Updated: Nov 4, 2021

The voice of a senior 1%er from an established well respected West Australian Motorcycle Club speaks out about the harsh new Bikie Laws. [The source & club name shall remain confidential to honour, respect and protect the innocent]

“How can you tell someone wearing club colours all their life that now you are banned from your club”

My source says

"I am not speaking about any other club but my own. My club is over 50 years old on West Coast. I have been a member for over 30 years. My club has never been found to be an ORGANIZED MOTORCYCLE GANG. Over the last 20 years, we have been audited by the NCA, which came back and reported back to the government that (this was Australia wide every outlaw club) were not organized crime. Still, some individual members are more opportunist, if something comes up, they might get involved in a crime, but they don't join a club to commit a crime. We had the TAX department audit every member, and they did not find anything illegal.

A reporter in the West Australian [who shall remain nameless to protect the guilty] has twice written: "those club members who have finished high school is called Brain". In my club, we have bricklayers, stonemasons, electricians, truck drivers, plumbers, painters, run bike shops, fishers, concreters, etc. We have always encouraged our brothers to set up their businesses and not work for anybody else. We have members that do not have criminal records (hard to believe but very accurate). We still have some original members that started the club; we have 50-year members 40 years, 30 years, 20 years etc. We don't have members coming and going like some clubs; we are here for long term love and respect forever.

How can you tell someone wearing club colours all their life that now you are banned from your club for having committed a crime 20 years ago, can't be with your brothers because some copper says you are part of a criminal organization when you have no criminal record. We stop members from fucking up and try to guide them to a life with no prison. If they didn't find us, some of those men would have ended up in jail or worse.

We are a family who loves and respect each other and our families, ride together live together".
